He was a former Finance Minister of the State of Andhra Pradesh. Yanamala Ramakrishnudu is the son of Yanamala Appa Rao. He was born on May 12, 1951 in AV Nagaram. He was a graduate and holds a degree in LL.B. from Sagar University in Madhya Pradesh. Ramakrishnudu also has a master's degree in Arts.He is married to Y Vijaya Lakshmi and has two daughters. He reads books and plays shuttle in his pastime. Yanamala Ramakrishnudu was elected to the Andhra Pradesh Assembly from Tuni constituency for six terms - in 1983, 1985, 1989, 1994, 1999 and 2004. Ramakrishnudu served as the finance minister of Andhra Pradesh.
